This is the 3th article I have been writing in relation to stop smoking.
It is my 2nd day not touching the cigarettes and feeling good.
This is my path and I am telling all of you what I think and what I want to achieve. please feel free to follow me.
When I ask this question to myself or to other smokers around me, they will say yes. When lighting a cigarette and take that first puff it feels like the stress you had before is just gone in a blink of an eye…
WRONG… Again this is one
If you think back of the time that you were a non smoker and you had to cope with stress, what would you do? Well you would just go for a walk or take a break; you would deeply breathe in and out until you come to a point that this moment of stress is gone. A good relieve from stress is playing sports, go swimming, cycling, running and many more.
One thing that you have to keep in mind is that with smoking you do not gain anything! On the contrary, you lose loads of things… You lose taste, smell, health, lung capacity, good breath and the list goes on...
Nicotine is a drug that is just working on your mind. It is really not difficult to stop smoking; most ex smokers will confirm this. Whether you are a heavy smoker or a regular, casual smoker, the nicotine will eventually be out of your body in 3 weeks. If you do not smoke at all for 3 weeks, all the nicotine that will be in your body will disappear. You will start noticing that your smell and taste is returning and that you
are feeling much better than before. We definitely cannot forget that during this period you will ‘suffer’ from withdrawal pangs…. Please do not compare this with a Heroin addict as the withdrawal pangs from Nicotine are not physically but mentally! You will not be in any pain what so ever but you will just have the feeling of emptiness and that little nicotine monster is going to call out from the substance that it needs – Nicotine. When having those pangs it is advisable to not grab that cigarette but to put your mind on other more important things. If you are in need of a cigarette I would suggest that you do something which takes about 15 minutes so that the pang is over.
If you keep saying that you stop smoking, eventually your mind is going to start believing what you say and at the same time the nicotine is flowing out of your body.
Remember: 3 weeks of no smoking will clean your body of nicotine!!! 3 weeks in order to be free from that filth for the rest of your life!!!
Please be advised that once you have passed these three weeks you will not have the withdrawal pangs anymore and you will definitely be more active, less tired, the feeling that you can achieve anything… but ….. Do not forget that only one puff of a cigarette afterwards can get you hooked again.
You have done so well for the 3 weeks and can start enjoying life even more… why fall back?
What have been written above are a fact and the whole truth. This is my path of being FREE from cigarettes. Feel free to join me in my path.
